Federal income tax is withheld from salary in accordance with rates based on the amount of salary and exemption information furnished by the faculty member to the Payroll Department.Part-time faculty are employed and salary is paid for specific periods in accordance with individual terms of employment.Specific information regarding payroll procedures and interpretations is available from the Payroll Department in the Administrative Campus Center (ACC) or from the Dean of Faculty’s office.
